The different job duties and titles at a dealership.
1. Sales - When first arriving at a dealership a
representative from the sales department will be one of the first
members of the team you will meet. His or her job consists of escorting
you around the dealership, finding out what your are interested in, and
getting you to an office to see if you can qualify for the vehicle
desired.
2. Sales Manager - The sales manager oversees the sales
process and guides your sales representative throughout the sales
process. If you ask the sales person for something he or she is
uncertain about they will check with the sales manager to see if
whatever you asked for is acceptable.
3. F&I - The F&I department handles all your paperwork and
will be the person who closes your loan with you.
4. General Manager - The general manager of the auto
dealership oversees the job duties of the entire dealership.
